Bon Voyage, Meinherr

On the road again
Booger Cesar's on the road again
Snortin' Drano and eating Spaghetti-O's from the can
Booger Cesar's on the road again

On the road again
Making sandwiches from rancid Spam
Wearing hotpants 'cause he's hitchhiking again
Booger Cesar's on the road again

On the road again
Like a hurn-o-matic drunken pope from Texas
On the road again
Don't sit in his lap because he is erectsas
On his bone again

On the road again
Riding Thor the chow dog like a harnessed buffalo
Seing just how long a quart of Mad Dog goes
Booger Cesar's on the road again

What hath science wrought?

My culinary experiments sometimes try the patience of a post-Enlightenment people grown weary from the excesses of science-run-amok. For example, my attempt to bake an onion as a floral pattern (some deft knife work made the raw onion somewhat flower-like) produced something we could call an onion polyp before we try very hard to forget it. Nor did my attempt to make pasta with a Pla-Doh Fun Factory pay off (pasta dough is firmer than Pla-Doh, and will break the plastic parts of the Fun Factory).

Nonetheless, my attempt to conquer the world with a waffle iron has had a few successes. Some things do not waffle well, but the following do: salmon croquettes (make the mixture a bit more liquid) and cornbread. Eventually I'll explore the complete frontiers of the waffle baker and know exactly what Man and Science can force it to render.
